Voltage stabilizers
Line faults, atmospheric phenomena, continuous load variations and disturbances generated by users themselves do not allow to guarantee to each user a constant voltage that falls within the tolerance margin provided by supply contracts. Often, this tolerance is insufficient for the most susceptible users. Other times the mains voltage reaches levels that exceed the expected nominal value by 15, 20 and even 30%. Voltage fluctuations are particularly insidious disturbing phenomena as they are not evident, but detectable only with the use of specific instrumentation. In their presence, electrical loads apparently maintain a state of correct operation that instead masks serious, sometimes irreparable, inconveniences. Ministab and Sterostab are the names registered by Irem of two series of electrodynamic voltage stabilizers that represent the reliable, proven and economical solution to the disservices caused by voltage fluctuations. The use of Ministab and Sterostab is a real investment because eliminating disservices means reducing costs and increasing productivity. Both available in single-phase and three-phase solutions, they satisfy different power ranges.

Line conditioners
They are equipment designed to provide the maximum level of protection to electrical loads connected to lines where voltage surges, high frequency conducted disturbances and voltage spikes are present. These phenomena statistically constitute over 95% of electrical anomalies, or sources of failure and disservice for any type of load connected to distribution networks. Standard models group four different devices in a single unit, each of which is dedicated to the compensation or attenuation of a specific electrical anomaly:
- A voltage spike suppressor;
- A line filter;
- A high attenuation isolation transformer;
- A voltage regulator.
The range consists of models with powers ranging from 0.5 to 830 kVA, which use two different voltage regulation technologies:
- Static switching technology for loads with consumption up to 8 kVA single-phase and 24 kVA three-phase: MINISTATIC;
- Electrodynamic regulation technology via series transformer and variable autotransformer for loads with consumption up to 830 kVA three-phase: STEROGUARD.
The two regulation technologies and the breadth of the range allow to provide the most suitable regulation system to meet the specific needs of various types of loads to be powered.
